Unhindered List 1613 Invite

Friends,I know many of you who are receiving these emails do not live in the immediate Dallas area and we wanted to especially share the below invitation with you. We are grateful that we have been able to freely serve our friends in Dallas these last weeks, but wanted to share with all of you about a special gathering we are putting on with some amazing leaders one month from now. As I shared with those who were with me this last Thursday- we initially did not make this widely known because of our sensitivity to the cost and the limited number of spaces available, but after much encouragement from others who were confident more people would like to know about this, we are sharing the below email and certainly ask all of you to join us in praying for the conference. While we wish space and resources would allow for all of us to get together in Scottsdale, we know that is not possible. Meanwhile we are grateful for the chance we have had to invite any and all to finish our study of 2nd Timothy these last four weeks. Reminder that I will be out the next two Thursdays but Tony Fundaro who was a leader in the Munger community of friends will be bringing the Word.  Thanks for praying with us about the event below and we hope that some of you will join us next month in Arizona.Here then is the invitation and information I promised those who were with me on Thursday I would send.

Friends, we wanted all of you to know of a time sensitive opportunity we have been working on for the past few months.  As most of you know, Alex and I have been spending these last months listening and prayerfully discerning God’s best use for us as we continue our life mission of loving God and serving others.  While there is a lot of exciting clarity starting to take shape - one immediate thing we have felt led to invest time, resources, and energy in creating is something we are calling the 1613 Legacy Conference. Hopefully, you will be hearing more about the larger #1613project in the days ahead, but we wanted you, and others you strategically share this conference opportunity with, to join us this fall October 9-12th in Scottsdale.

This will be an intimate gathering of leaders who want to be encouraged and equipped to remain strong, meet other faithful friends and be reminded of the privilege and responsibilities of being salt and light in our culture. Because of the venue and the expense of hosting the event there, we realize the conference is cost prohibitive for many but would love to ask my friends on this list to join me in:
