While I am sure that many of you don’t check email on Saturday, I still wanted to get this invitation out to those of you who might see it and who live in the Dallas area. Meanwhile I will be sharing more with everyone about ways we intend to encourage and help you grow in your faith and serve the King wherever you live. (One way to stay engaged with me and my reflections on culture, breaking news and God’s Word is to subscribe to the Remnant News where I’ve been spending some of my time by helping a team of people execute the remnant response. For those of you who have not yet heard about it or who need help subscribing hit this link and then confirm your email in your inbox!)
Subscribe here if you haven’t already.
Meanwhile, for those of you who live in the Dallas area and who are able to join me tomorrow, I along with some other faithful friends, will be meeting at 9:30 a.m at 3014 Skillman Road, Dallas Tx 75206 to talk about our vison for how we can increase our service to Christ in our city.
Any one of you who wants to do the “fine work” of “aspiring to the ‘office’ of being an elder/pastor/overseer” will be greatly encouraged.
The church in America has too long been filled with spectators and we are going to share more about an opportunity for you to get in the game the same way Jesus encouraged those He was leading in Matthew 10.
If we want to change our land, we have to adopt His plan, and I am excited to share with you our intention to accomplish it together.
(For those of you who do not live in Dallas we will be sharing more with you in the days ahead so you too can join us wherever you live.)
I believe our work together can change the world - and as Dietrich Bonhoeffer reminds us, "Being a Christian is less about cautiously avoiding sin than about courageously and actively doing God's will.” It is always time to excel still more actively doing God’s will.
If you’re in Dallas- join us at 9:30a.m. tomorrow!
1 Thess 4:1,
