Gathering Follow Up

It is hard to believe that it has already been over two weeks since we were together. I was so grateful for the kindness of your presence with me and my family so I could express our heartfelt thanks to each of you for the blessing you have long been to me.More information will be forthcoming as we have it but as I shared with you when we were together, I am certain that whatever I end up doing to provide for my family, the Lord wants me to continue to use the gifts He has given me to encourage, equip and serve others.  That call certainly isn’t unique to me - it is for all of us - and it is time I get back to it in more public ways myself.Thank you for praying for me as I and a few others determine which ‘rented quarters” we should use to follow Paul’s example in Acts 28:30-31. “And he stayed two full years in his own rented quarters and was welcoming all who came to him, preaching the kingdom of God and teaching concerning the Lord Jesus Christ with all openness, unhindered.” I don’t know if our future times together will last “two full years” but I am guessing it will at least take 4-6 weeks to finish the rest of 2 Timothy until we discern what else the Lord has for us. Thank you for praying with me about the right place and provision to teach ‘with all openness, unhindered’.   As I shared last week (see embedded clip below) while I am not certain all the Lord has ahead, I don’t want to do anything simply because I can…I ONLY want to do what the Lord is behind.
