Easter Weekend

Easter weekend update and with two encouragements

Friends:  Given that I have been unable to secure even a smaller location for tonite, instead of us being together I ask that you take a moment this evening and do two things.  1.) Send a text or make a phone call to someone just to encourage them.  Let them know you are praying for them and tell them you are hopeful that your remembering them serves as a reminder of God’s kindness in His remembering them thru the provision of His son on the cross.  The Lord wants us to encourage each other day after day (Hebrews 3:13) so let’s redeem the time we would have been together by bring others into a present reminder of the Father’s love.  2.) Pray with me again for the right “rented quarters” for us.  I am confident that in God’s time we will find the right place. Providentially- it will not be tonite or this weekend.  God is seldom early but never late.  Paul’s words to his friends in Rome capture my heart for all of you.   First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, because your faith is being proclaimed throughout the whole world. [9] For God, whom I serve in my spirit in the preaching of the gospel of His Son, is my witness as to how unceasingly I make mention of you, [10] always in my prayers making request, if perhaps now at last by the will of God I may succeed in coming to you. [11] For I long to see you so that I may impart some spiritual gift to you, that you may be established. Romans 1:8-11 Have a blessed Easter weekend- if you want to know where our Savior was between the cross and Resurrection give a quick listen here. A common misperception is that Jesus was in hell- listen and be encouraged.
