2022 Year End

Christmas Greetings & Ministry Update

His anger is but for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime; Weeping may last for the night, But a shout of joy comes in the morning.

Psalm 30:5

If ever a historical event made manifest the Truth of Psalm 30:4, it is the impossible kindness of the first Christmas. Into all the havoc and chaos our sin brought to the world, comes the hope and calm of “peace on earth, good will to men.” Into the “silent night”, swallowed in darkness, comes the shout and light of joy from an angel of the Lord declaring, “I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born to you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”

I confess to this day I do not understand the “wonder of His love.”

My hope as we end 2022 is that more of His love and wonder are made manifest to you through my life and opportunities the Lord will give us together in 2023. Alex and I cannot express enough gratitude for the multitudes of you who continue to want to stay in touch,

who consistently let us know you are praying for us,

and who are kind enough to periodically reach out or say hello as our paths cross.

Meanwhile, there are a lot of exciting things waiting for us in the year ahead. I look forward to 2023 giving us more opportunities to be together in person and more opportunities to share in the joy of investing together in others.

It has been a great privilege to meet with others in the Lakewood/Central Dallas area these last weeks to encourage new friends and old who are prayerfully considering how they might purpose together to be God’s people by “continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” It is always awe inspiring to watch the Spirit go to work in the lives of His people and to watch their passion, courage, faithfulness, love for one another and desire to serve and reach those who still do not understand the “shout of joy” that first harkened in Bethlehem.

With that in mind I want to invite you to a special Christmas Eve gathering this Saturday December 24th at 1pm.

I promise you it will be a Christmas Eve ‘service’ like you have never been to before and that you will not soon forget. I pray it is a time which will forever change the way respond to our privilege and responsibility given our understanding of “the reason for the season”.

If you are interested in joining, please respond to this email and I will send you relevant details so you can celebrate God’s kindness with us.

There is no way to “live stream” our time but I promise those who live close enough to come will be blessed, challenged, and encouraged. I hope you're curious and come join us.

Finally…after 13 months the IRS responded and now it is possible for you to invest with us at Unhindered Ministries (See Acts 28:30-31) as the year closes. If it would bless you to help us serve business leaders, our military veterans, public servants, ministry leaders, churches and pastoral leaders (I already know I will be teaching next year at conferences for pastors and church leaders in Cuba, Czech Republic, and the States) we would welcome your support. With your help, we will continue to make disciples in and around our “Jerusalem” and “uttermost parts of the world”. Additionally, we anticipate 2023 will find us able to create podcasts and other resources to equip and encourage even broader audiences and more people. If you are stirred to join us in making this and the many more things we are prayerfully planning in the days ahead (James 4:13-15 always in mind) please click the link below to invest with us via debit or credit card. If you would like to give via ACH, please reply to this email and I will send you appropriate account information.

All gifts will be receipted and are tax deductible.

May our paths cross often - be it Christmas Eve or soon after - and each time may we find each other more faithful and full of joy.

Thank you for your prayers and partnership in His work.

Confident of good things,
