1613 Weekend Follow Up

Men-

It is hard to believe just 7 days ago we were together in Fort Worth, forming new friendships, reminding each other of great truths, enjoying some friendly competition, an amazing movie, worshiping, praying, and reflecting on the apostles teaching and breaking bread. Not a bad way to spend a weekend…not a bad way to live our lives. 

My Prayer For You:My daily prayer for you is that you would lead others to do all of the above in every area of influence that the Lord has given you. Specifically, I pray that those who live in your home and those who are under your leadership at work would be the most blessed and thankful to the Creator for your stewardship of life. I have also prayed that you would control what you can control, including who you trust, what your perspective is, and what you do. I prayed for you specifically as you asked on your feedback form, and I pray 😜 that the other half of you who have yet to respond would get it done! Here is the link once again:

Next Steps:

I am committed to working with you to multiply what has already begun. We are working on:

• A website

• A podcast

• Social Media Content (follow us on instagram @1613Project and share our content)

• Consistent group communication

• Servant leadership training with Tim and I for all who are interested

• Cohorts

• Job Board/Business Opportunities

• Future gatherings both local and “national”

All of this will take resources, a team, and time and I ask that you join me in praying that my effort to faithfully serve others and accomplish the Lord’s purposes, would be affirmed by the Lord’s provision. My King has never failed to provide what is needed as I seek to honor Him, and I look forward to watching Him glorify Himself through our generosity and teamwork again.

Please pray that we we would be faithful and worthy of His strong support. (2 Chron 16:9) Thank you for being a part of the “7,000 others” who remain committed to not “bow their knee before Baal” (1 Kings 19:18, Romans 11:4).

You would be encouraged to know I spoke to a group of men in East Texas last night that are among our number. Briggs sent me a picture of another gathering he went to last night - 

The Lord has His men everywhere…let’s make sure He especially has them where WE ARE.  I will send another email next week with more specific information. I am speaking tomorrow at a church in Austin area and I take heart in knowing y’all will be praying that I am a source of God’s grace and encouragement to them.
